(i`d like to add, that i know where to find the files of the recruitable soldiers and how to edits them, but the files from the pre-made characters like betty, peter, snake etc are the ones i can`t find, nor the file of the 'the warrior' itself) custom characters (warrior) are probably directly put in the save game file. Pre-designed characters (mick, snake etc.) are in the entities archive. If you want to change the pre-designed characters: 0) i assume you have latest patch and fallout tactics editor 1) create your new character in the editor and save it as prefab1.ent (or prefab2.ent, prefab3.ent, prefab4.ent, prefab5.ent) 2) in the game path, locate core entities Special folder. Create a folder called 'prefab' and paste the entity file. 3) if you did right you would see it when creating a new game, it will have different stats and no big portrait image on selection (take, modify etc) screen.
4) if you delete the ent. File the game will use old pre-designed character. 5)the game first looks at open folders ('core entities' in this case) for resources assuming they have modified with a patch; if not existing then it looks the corresponding archive ( in this case 'entities0.bos.' ) if you open it with winzip or winrar you will get every entitity in the game and you may use your own entities by using the same path and name in the entities folder. 10:33, March 25, 2012 (UTC).
