Platinum Notes uses studio filters to process your files. It corrects the pitch, improves the volume and makes every file ready to play anywhere - from your iTunes to a festival sound system. Even if you buy WAV files, Platinum Notes will improve them. Add Warmth to your music for a beautiful analog sound. Many downloads like Platinum Notes 4 may also include a serial number, cd key or keygen. If this is the case it is usually included in the full crack download archive itself. Otherwise you can try the serial site linked below.

PLEASE REPORT posts and comments that violate the above rules or just suck. What program do you use? Pretty much all of them offer included key-tagging these days although accuracy will vary. Is free, but only available for OSX. Is also free. A little clunky in interface, but it people seem to find it pretty accurate.
Is probably the easiest. Yes you need licensed hardware to DJ, but the offline mode plus all the features are usable with the download and you can use it for free. The problem with these programs is it tags in traditional classical notation only as I believe the Camelot system is actually exclusive to Mixed in Key. The only thing you can do is to re-tag everything in camelot manually if you want to use that system. Serato will actually display the keys in Camelot even though it tags in classical notation, so it would be easier to manually retag en-masse since it's already displaying in Camelot. Currently Mixed in Key is the most accurate, but not really by all that much.
The only big advantage after that is the automatic tagging system in MIK (allows you to choose where to set the tag in you file which is actually kind of nice) and the fact that it natively tags in camelot. Whether that's worth $100 is up to you.
I've got both, I use both. Mixed in Key will eventually be eaten up by the key detection software within DJ programs. It's still the most accurate, but probably not for long is my guess. As for Platinum Notes, I bought it because I was frustrated at Serato's auto gain delivering mixed results.
I run all of my tunes through Platinum Notes, turn auto gain off and have no problems any more with levels. Whenever anyone mentions Platinum Notes on there's a whole bunch of peeps who will give you all sorts of technical reasons why PN is or isn't a crock. I just go by what my ears tell me, and I'm happy with the job PN does.
Don't play under 320 on a club system, or any system really. I highly recommend rebuilding your library in lossless.
That being said you can not improve a track's quality once that information is lost, don't let anyone or any program tell you differently. Practice setting your gains in cue before you drop a track and learn how to read your meters and you will have an improved set over it. You don't want to re-render studio mastered tracks and sacrifice anything.
As for mixed in key, the ideas can help your mixes become more seamless, however it does nothing with actual rhythms that is up to you to match tracks. DJ software is replacing mixed in key these days.
